Lyabi Khouz


 Hi guys, today we went to the Lyabi Khouz complex. We lerned about all of places located in it. 
The bronze monument to Khoja Nasreddin is located in the central city square of Bukhara , not far from the ensemble Lyabi - Khauz . Perhaps this is the most photographed landmark of the city . Firstly , the sculpture is in the center , and secondly , this character is simply loved . Perhaps it is he who brings a touch of joy and laughter in the old atmosphere of traditional buildings . The monument to Khoja Nasreddin in Bukhara was installed in 1979. And the author is the sculptor Yakov Shapiro . The sculpture is made of bronze and installed on a rectangular pedestal.

Kukeldash madrasah was construc ted in the 16th century during the rule of Abdullah - khan the second . This is one of the biggest madrasahs in Bukhara . It has 160 premises located on two storeys along the perimeter of the front yard One of the most well - known mid dle Asian writers of the 20th century , Sadriddin Ayni ( 1878-1954 ) was a stu dent of this establishment . Traditional facades of madrasah are designed with majolica . The main facade near Lyabi - Hauz contains a hall , a mosque and the lesson room ( darskhana ) . The interior of madrasah intrigues the visitors with its mysterious star - shaped lamps made of burned bricks . The decoration of the central por tal has been accomplished without using glue or nails . The premise of the madrasah makes an impression of tightness with its heav ily leaning entry , ladders and small rooms . The most marvelous feature the madrasah's architecture is the deco rative design of the two main halls of mosque and the lesson rooms . The dome ceilings of the corridors are impressive , they lead the way from the gates to the front yard.
Khanaka ( location for merchants ) Nadir Divan - Begi is a rectangle - shaped building with dome cross - point ceiling with a unique elongated narrow portal and side towers . The main hall is single domed ; two premises are situated around it . There is also a mihrab ( direc tion to Mecca ) decorated with astoni shing architectural design . The main portal is decorated with epigraphic painting . The front facade is a stand point for two towers cut at the height of the walls . Besides the main one there are two side portals . Due to its location and the hall with wonderful acoustic , Khanaka Nadir Divan - Begi has been the cultural and religious center of Bukhara throughout many centuries.

Today we went to the Ismail Samaniy monument .We learned about its history.We got a lot of information.  The Samanid Mausoleum is a mausoleum located in the northwestern part of Bukhara, Uzbekistan, just outside its historic center. #forth day. Mir-Arab madrasah

 Hi everyone! Today we went to the Mir-Arab madrasah. We learn a lot of information about this building. Now I give some of them. There are two big blue domes of the Miri-Arab madrasah towering above the surrounding buildings in the center of Bukhara. Along with the Kalyan mosque and minaret, this religious educational establishment forms the whole ensemble Poi-Kalyan that is the spiritual center of the city. Construction of the Miri-Arab madrasah dates back to the 16th century and is related to the sheikh Abdallah Yamani (from Yemen), the spiritual pir (guide) of sheybanids. The exact date of the beginning of the construction is still unknown. According to one version, scientists believe that the building was erected in the period of 1530-1535/1536. The other version states, that the madrasah was built to celebrate the victory of the sheybanid army over the troops of the Sefevid shah Ismail I in the battle of Gijduvan in 1512. #fifth day. Minorai-Kalyan

Hi guys!!! Today we went to one of the most beautiful minora in our city. We get a lot of information about history of this building. The minaret, designed by Bako, was built on an earlier existing structure called Kalyan by the Qarakhanid  ruler Mohammad Arslan Khan in 1127 to summon Muslims to prayer five times a day. An earlier tower was collapsed before starting this structure which was called Kalyan, meaning welfare, indicating a Buddhist or zoroasterian past. It is made in the form of a circular-pillar baked brick  ower, narrowing upwards. It is 45.6 metres (150 feet) high (48 metres including the point), of 9 metres (30 feet) diameter at the bottom and 6 metres (20 feet) overhead. In 1924, a small part of the wall and the minaret's muqarnasses  were restored.
