History of Ark


 Today, we again went to the Ark and get a lot of information about it. One of them is about Siyovush. There are a lot of legends about the Ark. According to them, a Persian prince who because of his stepmother’s mean plot exiled himself to Turan (Central Asia), built the fortress. Once, walking about a bazaar, Siayvush saw a beautiful girl he fell in love with, and his love was requited. However, her father, the ruler of Afrasiab, agreed to permit them to marry provided that Siyavush first built a palace on a bull’s hide. Everybody thought it was impossible, but the quick-witted young man cut the hide into thin strips, stretched them, tied up their ends, made a large figure from them on the ground and built a palace within its perimeter. I liked this  legend. 

Also, we shared some informations  to tourists about the Ark.


I  and my friend talked about the history of Ark, but they already know about this informations😂😂

Today we went to the Ismail Samaniy monument .We learned about its history.We got a lot of information.  The Samanid Mausoleum is a mausoleum located in the northwestern part of Bukhara, Uzbekistan, just outside its historic center. #forth day. Mir-Arab madrasah

 Hi everyone! Today we went to the Mir-Arab madrasah. We learn a lot of information about this building. Now I give some of them. There are two big blue domes of the Miri-Arab madrasah towering above the surrounding buildings in the center of Bukhara. Along with the Kalyan mosque and minaret, this religious educational establishment forms the whole ensemble Poi-Kalyan that is the spiritual center of the city. Construction of the Miri-Arab madrasah dates back to the 16th century and is related to the sheikh Abdallah Yamani (from Yemen), the spiritual pir (guide) of sheybanids. The exact date of the beginning of the construction is still unknown. According to one version, scientists believe that the building was erected in the period of 1530-1535/1536. The other version states, that the madrasah was built to celebrate the victory of the sheybanid army over the troops of the Sefevid shah Ismail I in the battle of Gijduvan in 1512. #fifth day. Minorai-Kalyan

Hi guys!!! Today we went to one of the most beautiful minora in our city. We get a lot of information about history of this building. The minaret, designed by Bako, was built on an earlier existing structure called Kalyan by the Qarakhanid  ruler Mohammad Arslan Khan in 1127 to summon Muslims to prayer five times a day. An earlier tower was collapsed before starting this structure which was called Kalyan, meaning welfare, indicating a Buddhist or zoroasterian past. It is made in the form of a circular-pillar baked brick  ower, narrowing upwards. It is 45.6 metres (150 feet) high (48 metres including the point), of 9 metres (30 feet) diameter at the bottom and 6 metres (20 feet) overhead. In 1924, a small part of the wall and the minaret's muqarnasses  were restored.
