Chashmayi-Ayub

 Hi everyone!!! Today went to the Chashmayi-Ayub. This building really ancient and famous. Now, I give some information about it.


Mausoleum of Chashma-Ayub is the religious building in the heart of Bukhara. It consists of the mausoleum and a holy spring. Today it includes a Museum of Water. The mausoleum was built by the order of Karakhanid rulers in the 12th century. It was rebuilt several times during the 14th-19th centuries. During the Tamerlane’s reign the mausoleum was completed. The building features four rooms, situated on the East-West axis. Each room is topped with a dome. The western room was the first building and was built as a sepulchral tower; the rest rooms were built

It is believed that the construction of the Chashma-Ayub tomb dates back to the 12th century. According to legends, one of the prophets of the Bible - Job (Job) hit the ground with his staff while passing through this waterless part of Bukhara - as a result, a spring of clean, healing water appeared here. In the 14th century, Khorezm craftsmen brought by Amir Temur during one of his campaigns built a building over the spring and well, and gave the cone-shaped dome above the high traction device in the well a characteristic shape for Khorezm. Compared to them, the famous Chor-Minor mosque can be called a newly built building - it was built in the 19th century. In this mosque, four low minarets and domes are blue in color, which gives the mosque a unique look.


It is common for oriental architecture to use ponds with artificial water bodies not only for practical purposes, but also for a more comprehensive decoration of the city. We get a lot of information and first-hand experience from there.

 Hi everyone! Today we went to the Mir-Arab madrasah. We learn a lot of information about this building. Now I give some of them. There are two big blue domes of the Miri-Arab madrasah towering above the surrounding buildings in the center of Bukhara. Along with the Kalyan mosque and minaret, this religious educational establishment forms the whole ensemble Poi-Kalyan that is the spiritual center of the city. Construction of the Miri-Arab madrasah dates back to the 16th century and is related to the sheikh Abdallah Yamani (from Yemen), the spiritual pir (guide) of sheybanids. The exact date of the beginning of the construction is still unknown. According to one version, scientists believe that the building was erected in the period of 1530-1535/1536. The other version states, that the madrasah was built to celebrate the victory of the sheybanid army over the troops of the Sefevid shah Ismail I in the battle of Gijduvan in 1512. History of Ark

 Today, we again went to the Ark and get a lot of information about it. One of them is about Siyovush. There are a lot of legends about the Ark. According to them, a Persian prince who because of his stepmother’s mean plot exiled himself to Turan (Central Asia), built the fortress. Once, walking about a bazaar, Siayvush saw a beautiful girl he fell in love with, and his love was requited. However, her father, the ruler of Afrasiab, agreed to permit them to marry provided that Siyavush first built a palace on a bull’s hide. Everybody thought it was impossible, but the quick-witted young man cut the hide into thin strips, stretched them, tied up their ends, made a large figure from them on the ground and built a palace within its perimeter. I liked this  legend.  Also, we shared some informations  to tourists about the Ark. I  and my friend talked about the history of Ark, but they already know about this informations😂😂

The fine art museum

 Hello everyone, today we went to the fine art museum with our teacher. We got a lot of information about this place. Since 1982 , the building has been a place for remarkable fine arts collection . The museum consists of the following exhibitions : The " Painting and Graphics " exhibition was established on the basis of painting , graphics, and sculpture collections. The exhibition is represented by the works of the Russian artists P. Benkov , Kurzin , and Vilkovir , who visited Central Asia in the late 19th and early 20th centuries . It also displays the miniature paintings by Ahmad Donish , the famous Bukharan educator , artist , philosopher , writer and calligrapher , who lived in the second half of the 19th century.  The exhibition possesses a number of pictures and sculpture samples by the contemporary Bukharan artists such as B.
