Bolo Hovuz mosque and Zindan

Hi guys👋 Today we went to the Bolo Hovuz mosque and Zindan. At that moment, I really amazed and astonished. Now, I share some informations.

Bolo Haouz Mosque is a historical mosque in Bukhara, Uzbekistan.Built in 1712, on the opposite side of the citadel of Ark in Registan district, it is inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site list along with other parts of the historic city. It served as a Friday mosque during the time when the emir of Bukhara was being subjugated under the Bolshevik Russian rule in the 1920s. Thin columns made of painted wood were added to the frontal part of the iwan in 1917, additionally supporting the bulged roof of summer prayer room. The columns are decorated with colored muqarnas.

Facade of the mosque with iwan on the back, columns on the front decorated with muqarnas and hovuz in the foreground.

One of the most important monuments of Bukhara is Zindan of Emir that attracts people with its mystery.

This one of the most enigmatic monuments of Bukhara was built in the 18th century. "Zindan" in Persian means "prison", "prison", "well for the detention." The prison was built in the northwest corner of Shahristan and consisted of several chambers of debt, the cooler and dungeon, laid of brick with a diameter of about 5 meters and a depth of 6.5 meters.

This place used to keep dangerous criminals. Zindan is a pit, which is located under the ground, it is in Shakhristan. The prison contained not more than 40 people; you can understand that in the city of Bukhara, as it is now a very low level of crime.

This places are really attracted me. Next time, again I will go☺
